EUDR Palm Oil Traceability and Compliance Data
Connect oil palm plantations, fresh fruit bunch deliveries, crude palm oil mills, refineries, oleochemical processors, supplier transactions and legality evidence for EUDR due diligence.
UCVreg helps palm oil importers, traders, refiners, consumer goods manufacturers and retailers structure deforestation-free supply chain data.
The EU regulatory landscape for Palm oil
Palm Oil Scope and Application Dates
The EU Deforestation Regulation covers oil palm products listed under EUDR Annex I, including oil palm nuts and kernels, crude and refined palm oil, palm kernel oil, oilcake residues, glycerol, and specified industrial fatty acids.
Under the EUDR, palm oil commodities must be deforestation-free (cultivated on land not deforested after 31 December 2020), produced in accordance with local statutory environmental and concession laws, and covered by a Due Diligence Statement.
Most EUDR obligations apply from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators. For undertakings established as micro or small enterprises, obligations apply from 30 June 2027.
Plantation Geolocation and Mill Supply Sheds
Operators must collect GPS polygon coordinates for all palm oil estates and smallholder plots delivering fresh fruit bunches (FFB):
Mass-balance models common in certification schemes are not permitted for proving EUDR compliance; physical segregation or identity preservation is required.
- ✓Concession boundary polygons and smallholder parcel coordinates (Elaeis guineensis)
- ✓Traceability from plantation plots through CPO extraction mills to bulk vessel tanks
- ✓Zero conversion of primary forests or high carbon stock peatlands after 31 Dec 2020
- ✓Concession permits, Environmental Impact Assessments (AMDAL/EIA) and FPIC agreements
- ✓Electronic Due Diligence Statements filed in the EU TRACES-NT system
EUDR Geolocation & Due Diligence Pipeline
End-to-end verified workflow from supplier ingestion to EU market clearance
Plot Geolocation

Where Palm oil compliance data breaks and how UCVreg supports readiness
Map vast plantation concessions and smallholder networks
Crude palm oil mills source fresh fruit bunches from company concessions alongside thousands of independent outgrowers.
Ingest multi-polygon concession shapefiles and smallholder farmer coordinates into a verified geospatial database.
Verify zero deforestation and peatland protection
Proving zero deforestation and zero peat drainage after December 2020 requires multi-spectral canopy and moisture analysis.
Perform automated spatial screening against official Copernicus tree cover and peat soil distribution maps.
Trace bulk liquid transport and oleochemical fractions
Crude oil is mixed in bulking tanks, ocean barges, refineries and oleochemical splitting towers.
Maintain rigorous identity-preserved and segregated batch tracking connecting refined fractions to source mills and plots.
Manage high-volume TRACES-NT DDS filings
Export shipments contain thousands of individual farm polygons that must be submitted to TRACES-NT without errors.
Automate Due Diligence Statement payload generation with pre-validation and direct TRACES-NT API connectivity.
